Exchanges and Returns are simple.

 

Customers are eligible for returns within the first 30 days after purchase. If you would like to make a return for an exchange, replacement or refund, please follow the steps outlined below.

Because we have multiple warehouses, the return address for returns will vary depending on the product ordered. After following the process below, you will be given instructions and the correct return address.

Types of Returns

Unused, Clean, Sellable Returns - Items that are unused, clean and sellable are eligible for return or exchange. If the buyer would like to exchange for a new item, they will be responsible for the return shipping costs only. If the item falls under this category and the buyer would like to return the item for a refund, they will be responsible for a 15% restocking fee as well as the return shipping costs.

Defective Returns - Items that are defective are backed by our product guarantee which states that our products will be free of defects. If the buyer receive a defective item, they will be eligible for an exchange for a new item at no additional cost to them. However, if they would like to return the item for a refund and not an exchange of the defective product, buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Used, Damaged Item Returns - Once the item has been used, the buyer is no longer eligible for a return or exchange.

What happens after 30 days?

  • Returns are eligible for up to 30 days from the date the order was placed. After 30 days returns will not be accepted.

What if I've changed my mind about my purchase and just want to return the product?

  • Orders can be returned for refund or exchange within the first 30 days. Certain restrictions apply as noted above.

What if HatchetsandAxes.com doesn't receive my returned item?

  • Return shipping must include a tracking number. This tracking number allows us to track the package to ensure proper receipt. If we have not received your return within 10 days of processing your return, you will be billed.

Returns Process

Once you understand each category listed above, you can proceed with contacting us regarding the return. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization # (aka RMA#) that will allow for the returns process to go smoothly.

Send us an email that contains the following:

  1. Order # & Date of the Order.
  2. A list of item(s) you would like to return.
  3. Condition of the item(s).
  4. The reason for your return.
  5. Request for the return address and RMA#.

Once we have received your request and approved your return we will respond with an RMA# and instructions for where to return the item(s). Please allow up to 3 business days for processing your return request.
