ABSOLUTE TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AXE QUALITY

When I put my order in for three-16" hatchets and three-19" hatchets, with an extra handle for both sizes, they forgot to send my three-19" hatchets and it has been over two months since I placed my order. When I reach out to the company, they blow smoke and say the order is on the way. When I reach out a week later, they DO NOT RESPOND. I am contacting my CC company to let them know this is a fraudulent company and they stole nearly $200 from me.

They also have a typo on their website. They meant to say "2% Satisfaction on Shipping and Customer Service".

Project

It’s a project it’s made in India just FYI not a big deal but you will receive a very very dull head I’m talking flat edge not even “ workable “ sharp I understand throwers are not intended to be super sharp but this is unbelievably dull and advertising as a back packers hatchet ? You get a project and for the price I’m not complaining I just think they should be a bit more honest on the advertising end . Oh grab a can of paint stripper because the first thing you need to do is remove the spray paint off this head lol .

Exactly as advertised, the only reason for 4 stars than 5 is that heck, it is just a tomahawk. And one hawk I would highly recommend for general work and play.

Backpackers Hatchet - Light Throwing Tomahawk

Terrific small hawk!

The backpacker hatchet/hawk and the light throwing tomahawk are virtually identical. They are very light and practical. As expected they arrive dull and need to have an edge put on them. As far as throwing I have not had a chance to test that aspect yet. They do well chopping and hammering. I would opt for the 19 inch handles. A great little hawk!
